KP9 3G or GSM Wireless Water Alarm Kit 5

KP9 3G or GSM Long Range Wireless Water Alarm 5 used to monitor for Water Leaks in four locations, it will contact key-holders by Telephone & Text Message if triggered, together with activating an optional built in Siren. 

The kit consists of:

• A 95 Channel 3G GSM Wireless Control Panel.
• 4 x Battery Powered Wireless Transmitters.
• 4 x Water Detectors.
• 1 x Wireless Signal Booster.

Water Sensors:

The four Water Sensors would be fitted onto the ground (using simple velcro strips), or placed underneath a carpet etc, these would then be connected into the battery powered transmitters by 1 metre of cable (can easily be shortened or lengthened), which would be mounted into a suitable positions for Wireless Transmission and also out of the way of any potential Water. You can add many more additional Water Sensors to this system allowing you to monitor various locations with just one control panel.

The range between the Wireless Transmitters and Control Panel is normally around 100 metres (line of sight) which equates to 40 - 50 metres in most applications, but by using this Signal Booster the range can be up to 400 metres (line of sight). The ideal is to place the Signal Booster within range of the Wireless Panic Button. 

In the event of Water being detected, the GSM Control Panel will contact up to 9 x key-holders by Telephone & Text Message together with activating an optional built in Siren.

SIM Card:

The control panel requires a standard size SIM Card for the communication, these can be PAYG or Contract, we would strongly advise that you check the small print on the PAYG SIM Cards (as some providers have a habit of taking unused credit away from the card at the end of each month or turn them off if they are not used within 3 months). We do offer a Roaming SIM Card to our customers which are ideal for use in GSM Alarm Systems as not only does the credit remain intact at the end of a month but the card also finds the best network in your location, full information found here.

Communication:

When the KP9 GSM Panel calls key-holders by Telephone, the key-holders have the option to:

• Press * on their Telephone (this will stop the alarm calling other key-holders but remain fully armed.
• Press # on their Telephone (this will stop the alarm calling other key-holders but will disarm the panel.

3G or GSM:

You can select above (just above add to cart button) the latest 3G Control Panel or the default GSM Panel, both panels will operate Telephone & SMS functions in Countries where 2G is still operational (most of Europe), if in doubt please ask us for advice.

Wireless Signal Booster:

The Signal Booster is powered by a plug in 3-pin transformer, and needs to be installed within range of the Wireless Transmitters.

Temperature:

There is a built in sensor on the control panel which will monitor for temperature from -20 to +60 degrees.

Power Failure:

You can set the control panel to report to the key-holders if the mains power is los for an adjustable duration from 0 to 99 minutes.
